The most very welcoming and amicable staff I ever met. Location: the hotel was very close to that wonderful garden, the centre of Rioja region, and shops and restaurants. It also was on a scenic area.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Nice breakfast with yogurt, juice, cocoa, and plenty of bread. Outdoor patio with tables and chairs. Communal microwaves and fridge. Potential for swimming in the pool, weather permitting.

The garden and balcony were a great addition to the stay, offering a relaxing place to unwind. The pool was also a bonus, although I didn't get to use it during my winter visit. Additionally, the owner was absolutely wonderful, making me feel welcome and ensuring that I had a comfortable stay.
The breakfast options were a bit limited, mostly consisting of cakes. It would have been nice to have more variety, such as different types of bread or tostadas.

Immaculate grounds with balcony overlooking. Family-run pension, charming hosts. Excellent breakfast and complimentary wine. Easy detour from Camino. Convenient for dog owners.
